deep tissue massage

Used to help repair damaged parts of muscle connections due to physical or emotional stress. It does so by manipulating the trigger point to increase blood circulation and release it of toxins.
Deep tissue massage addresses the musculature and elastic components of body tissue, helping to realign and free the fascia. In doing so it also helps to release memories of past trauma stored in the tissue.
SPORTS MASSAGE

Sports massage can help maintain the body in better condition, prevent injuries, cure and restore mobility to injured muscle tissue, boost performance, and extend the overall life of your sporting career.
Sports massage causes the pores in tissue membranes to open, enabling fluids and nutrients to pass through. This helps remove waste products such as lactic acid and encourages the muscles to take up oxygen and nutrients which helps them recover quicker.
shiatsu massage

Shiatsu is an ancient Oriental healing therapy using the acupuncture meridian system. It treats the person by balancing the flow of Qi/Chi (life energy). It is performed on a mat, on the floor with the therapist applying pressure to the meridians.
A lot of meridian stretching is done to restore flexibility and energy flow. Shiatsu treats the whole being, as well as specific ailments. Be sure to wear comfortable, stretchy clothes!

Lymph Drainage massage

Is a gentle form of massage used to relieve painful swelling caused by lymphedema. Lymphedema often affects people recovering from breast cancer surgery.
Lymphedema happens when your tissues retain fluid left behind after your cardiovascular system sends blood to your tissues and organs.
The remaining fluid is called lymph. Normally, your lymphatic system collects your lymph and returns it to your heart via a network of lymph vessels and lymph nodes. When something disrupts your lymphatic system's process, lymph collects in your arms and legs making them swell.
A massage therapist uses lymphatic drainage massage techniques to move lymph from your tissues to your lymph nodes, which eases the swelling in your tissues.
Manual massage techniques can break down the fibrous tissue and improve circulation in the affected area. Although lymphatic drainage massages are not always necessary after liposuction, they can help in the case of issues like fibrosis.
Cupping Massage

A therapeutic cupping treatment involves warming and placing cups, usually made of glass, on the skin. By warming the air within the cup, a vacuum is created, and when it is applied to the skin, the tissue is drawn up into the cup. This increases the blood flow, loosens the fascia or connective tissue, and is thought to stimulate healing.
